This section of our
website is devoted to projects that our fellow woodworkers have completed using plans that they found on our sites. Some people decide to tell us a story about the projects, while others simply send a photo.
We encourage you to send photos, stories, and anything else related to your woodworking experiences so that we might share them with other fellow woodworkers. Nice job everyone! |

John Blackburn, of
Imperial Beach, CA, sends this photo of a project he obviously spent great time and care on completing. John didn't feel that the plan offered enough support for the legs, so he added in some corner plates to
reinforce them. Good idea, John. That's one of the great things about woodworking -- you never have to go exactly by the plans! Nice job! |

Brian
McMahon sends us this photo of his weekend workbench project now completed. He said the plans were "easy to follow and well drawn to make it clear to understand." He took it upon himself to add
partitions in the trays of the drawers and also added locking wheels to the inside of the legs of the bench. Nice modification! |

E
arl, of Archer Enterprises, sends this photo of his finished clock. Earl tells us it is built out of solid oak, stained in Golden Oak Varathane Elite "Diamond Wood Stain", and protected with
Varathane's "Diamond Wood Finish" -- semi-gloss.Earl said that he found the plans easy to follow and "would recommend this project to anyone." We really appreciate you taking the time to send us the
photo, Earl. We're sure many people are enjoying your work both at home and now online. Thanks much! P.S. -- You sound like a salesman for Varathane! |

Tom Mason, of
Titusville, FL, is a prolific woodworker -- seems like he's just always building something or other. This time, he was kind enough to send pictures of his finished wine rack...which looks beautiful! He said
it turned out to be a bit challenging, but was fun regardless.Tom used cherry plywood and red oak for the cabinet. He added banding to the doors and drawer front so that the plywood grain wouldn't show.
Another change Tom made was to modify the inside of his wine rack to hold four racks instead of the three that the plan originally calls for; so, Tom's wine cabinet holds 24 bottles instead of 18. |
